Introduction:
Right glove choosing is the key to protect operators in laboratory who constantly contact with all kinds of chemicals like strong acid and alkali and poisioning substances,sometimes high temperature instruments such as heating containers or samples on electronic oven causing injuries on skin leads to dry,peeling and itchy light symptons or worse.
1.Injuries may caused during experiment.
Generally there are 3 types of injuries:
A.Injuries caused by chemicals.
B.Scald.
C.Cut while loading or unloading devices.
2.Glove class
According to material and processing, glove is classified to A,B,C. Class A top 1 passing leakage testing before package, the safest with lowest pinholes ratio.
3.Selection and use
A.Best protection.
2.Checking pinhole or wearness before operating.
3.Laying polluted glove in a pointed position.
4.Take off in proper way to avoid scecond harmness on skin or clothes by poisioning substances.
5.Do not share to cut intercross infection.
6.Wash hands and get moistured before and after using.
7.Cover wounds before wearing gloves.
